The Bench · v1.0 (2026-07-29)
These are blank forms, published reference values, and a clock.
The software does not take information about a person, does not evaluate anyone, and does not produce a finding, a canal, a side, a maneuver or a risk category. It formats what you have already written and prints it.
Every value shown here is published in the source named beside it, reproduced as the source states it, with the population it was measured in. Applying any of it to a person is your judgement and happens in your head, not in this software.
NeuroDash publishes this as its own work. It is not reviewed by an outside board-certified specialist and carries no continuing-education credit.

Sheet
DHI — Dizziness Handicap Inventory
25 items, scored 0 to 100. Higher is worse.
Published thresholds
- 0–30 mild, 31–60 moderate, 61–100 severe, in adults with dizziness (Whitney 2004).
About 18 points or more is generally regarded as exceeding measurement error (Jacobson & Newman 1990).
Read with care. A self-report of handicap. It records what a person says about their life, not what the labyrinth is doing.
Source: Jacobson & Newman 1990; Whitney 2004
Notes
Thresholds are printed with the population they were derived in, because they do not transfer between populations — a value from one cohort applied to a different one is a different claim than the paper made. No instrument’s items are reproduced here; each remains its copyright holder’s.
